Ferryboat to nowhere

I’m using a draft post – to house this post.

Apparently, at some point I was going to write a post entitled “Ferryboat to Nowhere”.

but now I’m taking a ferryboat (moving van) to somewhere (the village of ag).

Yes, that’s right – breaking news, breaking news. I’m moving!!

It just came to be this past weekend, and many folks were out of town – so I’m sharing it here.

September 4th, or thereabouts, I’m outta the ghetto and into the cute village of AG. A spanish style 3br house (small bedrooms), with a ridiculous backyard, space for hookups, garage, storage and a lot of “charm and character”… aka brown carpet, and super cute built ins.

I’m already space planning….

My family is assigning themselves jobs…

Kake – boxer, her people – lasagna makers, my mom – washer/dryer on craigs list (I know JoJo – am I nuts or what?), Annette – contemplating window treatments, Dad –  weed eating the jungle out back, and finding me a dog in the pennysaver.

So after 5 1/2 years living in the land of yellow walls and kelly green carpet, with no storage, and no garage –  I’m migrating to a place that has a jungle, an actual guest room, tons of storage, and is with in walking distance of my favorite places… like 2 blocks people.

and that is the latest.

YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! I’m so incredibly excited for you! And a tiny bit jealous because you know how I love my village 🙂
We have a wedding to go to that day, otherwise we would help! But I can help clean the old place, or you can borrow our car if you want…the seats all fold down flat in the rodeo – you can cram lots of stuff in there! Can’t wait to see it!

YAY!!! So exciting!!! Congrats! Perhaps a little (big) great dane puppy would be perfect for the jungle 🙂

  3. Kelly says:

Wahoo! That is SUPER exciting! I’m glad you found a place! I can’t wait to hear about it/see it.

I hope all is well in camp land. I miss you!

  4. Cathy says:

Very cool! We are going to miss you in Grover but are available to help with moving and/or settling in.

Okay so I’m just now getting caught up with my life and more importantly my blogs 🙂
Congrats on the move, I LOVE the village. Now you’re just a wee walk away from some of the best of AG’s yummy places to eat.

Ohhhh I agree with Joanna…of course our old standby taco loco…and I have a wee love affair with Alphy’s – they just opened a coffee shop a couple doors down, have you tried it yet? And of course the village grill when you’re in the mood for a juicy burger…and have you tried that roastnrooster place by the post office? Delish! and omg Gina’s….guuuurl – I think I just gained 10 pounds even THINKING about all those yummy restaurants. SIGH
By the way – I think I know which house it is…I drove by and there were boxes on the porch….stinking adorable, I can’t wait to see it!!!
